What the comparison tells you
The 2025 Fraser Institute Ontario reports use 2023/2024 academic results. The elementary edition was released in January 2026 and the secondary edition in November 2025. These are historical indicators, not current-year test scores or a complete measure of school quality.
This category compares 72 rated public secondary records in Toronto. English- and French-language schools are included. A school without a published score is not treated as lower performing. Regional and GTA positions are calculated from the published scores, rather than separate Fraser rankings.
Equal scores share a position. Ten profiles are displayed, with equal scores ordered alphabetically by the current common name, ignoring the French École prefix. Any schools tied at the cutoff but outside those ten are named below; their results are not lower.
