School-specific context
German Mills Public School is on Simonston Boulevard in Thornhill, within Markham. The current campus opened in 1975 and offers Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8. It is distinct from the historic one-room German Mills schoolhouse, which now serves as a community centre.
Current campus
Use the Simonston Boulevard address when planning a school visit; the historic schoolhouse elsewhere in the neighbourhood is not today’s public-school campus.
BEFORE YOU CHOOSE A HOME
Check the address.
Confirm the program.
A nearby home or a shared municipality does not guarantee a place. Ask the board about attendance boundaries and the school about any separate entry requirements.
Considering a home in Markham?
Explore the municipality once you have checked the school’s entry rules. These searches do not establish distance, school boundaries, transportation or admission.
